Andy Shauf

Over the past few years, Regina’s Andy Shauf has emerged as one of Canada’s most respected singer-songwriter voices, wooing audiences with his tender tenor and softly-strummed songs, and invoking the spirits of departed folk heroes such as Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley. His last album The Bearer of Bad News explores themes of uncertainty, curiousity and spirituality, honing his craft with a weathered piano, warm guitar and clarinet. Despite its genesis in Shauf’s basement studio, the album earned him Producer of the Year honours at 2013′s Western Canadian Music Awards.
