QUINTRON & MISS PUSSYCAT
w. UNCLE PHIL AND FRIENDS
@ House of Targ
NOVEMBER 20, 2014
$12 advance // $15 door
QUINTRON & MISS PUSSYCAT (New Orleans)
Preceded by a 30 minute puppetshow, QUINTRON & MISS PUSSYCAT, will take to the Targ on their Spellcaster II (Death in Space) album tour. So many sounds. Their party style shout jams have now been infected with murky instrumental themes constructed from “mostly unidentifiable sounds” - QUINTRON. Their follow up to Spellcaster I (from now defunct Ann Arbor noise label Bulb Records–Keiji Haino, Wolf Eyes, Andrew WK, Math), Spellcaster II has plenty of organ, drum buddy, vibraphone, breaking glass, and a new instrument / invention called WEATHER WARLOCK period
UNCLE PHIL AND FRIENDS (Hottawa)
Introducing the next great thing from Phil Osborne’s land of wizardry…. a really spooky band. Known for gooey puppets, weirdo animations, and Hallowe’en installations, this beach pop, surf slop, dabbles in psychedelia whilst maintaing tight guitar hooks. The kids can’t get enough of UNCLE PHIL. With a full cast of “friends,” this show will be eye popping, bone rattlin fun.
TICKETS available online or at Vertigo Records and Compact Music (North + South).

Germany boasts the 3rd largest music market in the world, second only to the US and Japan. With scads of huge cities short distances apart and rabid fans with a reverence for music who don’t mind paying for it, Germany is as close as it comes to paradise for a touring band or artist.
Come and meet a couple of key German music industry players along with two Ottawa artists with recent German touring under their belts, and learn some tips on how to prepare for and take a bite out of one of today’s most exciting musical markets.
