May 14, 2013

Halifax, Canada garage duo COUSINS hit London this week for two shows, followed by a weekend at THE GREAT ESCAPE in Brighton, marking the group’s first-ever trip to the UK. The band will continue on for select shows in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium to round out the month.

Last week, Europe got its first taste of COUSINS’ new album The Halls of Wickwire via the premiere of “What’s Your Name?,” a fireball of a track set to a homemade fireworks-heavy video. Recorded this past fall in Toronto at Candle Recording (Owen Pallett, Austra, Beliefs) with Josh Korody, and produced by Holy Fuck’s Graham Walsh (METZ, Hannah Georgas, Lights), The Halls of Wickwire’s release plans are TBD.
